Most people decide where to eat with their phone, before they have spoken to anyone.
Someone is standing in the street, or on the sofa, and they have your name from a friend or a search for “restaurants near me”. They tap through. In the next ten seconds they want three things: what kind of food, what it costs, and whether they can get a table tonight. If they cannot find those, they go back and tap the next place.
